Taurean Taylor, 26, gave himself the street name Kyser or Kyze after the feared Keyser Soza in the Hollywood film The Usual Suspects.
gangster linked to rap star Giggs was sentenced to six years imprisonment today for shooting a man who owed money.
He described himself as "the number one hitman" for Giggs, whose violent lyrics have been criticised by Operation Trident, the Met unit tackling gun crime in the black community.

Taylor shot Marcus Bennett, known as Meano, who was said to have owed an associate Godfrey Jok, known as Rox, £10,000.

He was hit in the arm and shoulder area as a warning on the Peckham Rye estate in January 2009.

Taylor, who later told friends he had "blazed him in his arm" used a self loading 9mm Glock pistol.
He was said to be part of the Peckham Boys - one of London's most powerful and organised street gangs.

Taylor, of Peckham Rye, was convicted of wounding with intent to cause GBH and possession of the Glock. He will be sentenced later by Judge Paul Worsley.

But he was cleared of the murder of Larry Safie, 25, in a tree-lined avenue in East Dulwich on a Sunday morning in February 2009 and Errol Davis, 24 at the SEOne nightclub near London Bridge in October 2008.

The court heard that while awaiting trial in Belmarsh prison Taylor told girlfriend Alesha White: "They're trying to say I'm his (Giggs) number one hit man. The reality of it Alesha is that they're not far wrong. They know what's going on."

In court he said this was merely a reference to his talent for making hit records.

Today Taylor was sentenced at the Old Bailey to six years imprisonment.

Judge Paul Worsely QC said he had deducted four years from the sentence he would have passed because of the time Taylor has been in prison awaiting trial.

Taylor served 688 days behind bars on the two murder charges - the approximate equivalent of a four year sentence.

He also served 68 days on remand for the wounding charge, which will count towards his release date.

Said the judge: "Judges of this court have repeatedly observed, as I now observe, that gun violence with loaded weapons on the streets of this city has got to stop.

Beneath the LeavesTwo Watsonville gang members accused of gang-motivated attack in a bowling alley more than a year ago pleaded no contest Wednesday to charges that will send them to prison for decades.

Abraham Santoyo, 19, and Jordan "Bugsy" Macias, 21, showed little emotion during the court appearance. Both dressed in jail-issue yellow clothes, they answered Judge Paul Burdick's questions with "yes, sir" and "no, sir."

The violence erupted in the now-closed Cabrillo Lanes on Auto Center Drive on March 5, 2010. Santoyo, the gunman, and Macias went to the bowling alley on a busy Friday night. When they spotted a gang dropout, they decided to go get weapons and come back to try to kill him, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Always Running: La Vida Loca: Gang Days in L.A.California jury that convicted a gunman for the gang hate killing of a black teenager meets next week to decide if he will face the death penalty.
Jurors on Monday found 31-year-old Daniel Murillo Salgado guilty of murder for the racially motivated car-to-car shooting death of 13-year-old Markess Lancaster in Riverside in October 2002. The jury also found the shooting was a hate crime.
The same jury begins hearing testimony in the penalty phase of trial on April 21.
Investigators tell the Riverside Press-Enterprise that Lancaster was targeted by a Hispanic gang because he was black and the killers wrongly believed he and others with him were rival gang members.
Three other defendants have either been convicted or pleaded guilty.

Gang Leader for a Day: A Rogue Sociologist Takes to the Streets

More than 20 extra officers, including members of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit Gang Task Force, will have a visible presence on the streets of the city over the next two days for the wake and funeral of Archie LePretre.

Police fear a retaliatory violence after LePretre, 22, died last Friday, following a confrontation with three masked men armed with knives and a baseball bat as he and his cousin played basketball on a school court.

RCMP said LePretre's cousin, who was also injured in the attack, is a member of a Vancouver-area gang, and police believe the attack was linked to hostilities between this and another group.

There are three suspects in the attack, described as aboriginal men in their 20s, all of whom they believe to be members of the rival gang, police said.

CRIME clan matriarch Big Mags Haney has apologised to her family over her drug dealing shame.

And she has told of her plans to live quietly now she's been released from jail.
In a rare interview, she spoke to the Record after a teenager was convicted of murdering her grandson Barry Bradley, 18.
And she claimed her family had now become a "target" because of their notoriety.
Haney, 68, said: "The apology I owe to my family is for going to jail and for bringing the spotlight on us all."
She added: "As far as the papers are concerned, I'm more of a bad sort than Myra Hindley or Osama bin Laden.
"But when I got out of jail, I got a house in Alva and I just wanted to live quietly.
"My neighbours are great but there are some elements here that don't want the Haneys and they've made that very clear. We've become a target here."
Haney launched a verbal attack on killer Jack Cramb, 19, who laughed in the dock throughout his trial for murdering her grandson Barry.
She said: "Nobodies - like that Cramb animal - have tried to use us to make a name for themselves. But no one will know him when he's in jail.
"He was on various indictments for assaults and threats against me and my family and others.
"If he had been remanded, as he should have been, my boy would still be alive.
"What he did was the work of an animal. No human being is capable of that.
"I had to sit and look at him snigger at his trial but he won't be sniggering and winking when he gets sentenced.
"Cramb thinks he's a bit of a gangster but where were all his cardboard gangsters in court? His so-called pals have deserted him, he's alone and going away for a long time."
But Haney blames herself for the pain her family have suffered in recent years, culminating in the murder.
She was outed as a large-scale drug dealer in the notorious Raploch housing scheme, in Stirling, by Daily Record investigators in 2001 and served six years in Cornton Vale prison.
Cramb was found guilty of murder at the High Court in Glasgow last week. Barry bled to death when Cramb slashed him with a piece of broken glass.
Cramb had previously threatened Big Mags with a broken bottle at her home.
Haney said: "There was bad blood between Barry and one of Cramb's pals. I had my door set alight late at night when I was at home with Barry's twin sister Michaela.
"Both of us could have died.
"Then I had that animal Cramb threatening me with a broken bottle. He should have been on remand but instead he was free to kill my boy.
"And as Barry lay dying on the street, not one of the people living there opened their door to him, to help or even give him comfort. No doctor in the world could have saved him but the fact people turned their backs on him as he lay dying still haunts me.
"When Barry died, I died too - and part of Michaela died. The only reason I'm still here is because of her."
Barry died following the brutal attack at Nethergate and Dalmore Drive, Alva, Clackmannanshire, on July 25.
At Cramb's trial, pathologist Professor Anthony Basuttil said the cause of death was slash injuries to Barry's carotid artery and jugular vein.
Haney claims Barry died at 6.40pm, but that she was not told until almost 10pm. By that time, details had been posted on the social networking site Facebook.
She claimed: "The police delayed telling me because they had a daft idea that my family would retaliate.
"I'm a 68-year-old disabled woman. What was I going to do about it? Take the law into my own hands? Aye, right.
"When they finally told me my boy was gone, I think I collapsed or started pulling my hair out. It is just a blur.
"I was a bag of nerves waiting for news at the hospital and it was on Facebook already. I only found that out later."
Judge Lord Kinclaven told Cramb: "In light of your conviction there is only one sentence I can pass, life imprisonment."
He deferred sentence to decide how long Cramb must serve before becoming eligible for parole.

Gangster Grant McIntosh was dumped bleeding at a hospital after a failed gangland execution.

The notorious hood was discovered with multiple stab wounds in the grounds of the Southern General in Glasgow.
And last night, as he remained seriously ill in hospital, underworld sources claimed McIntosh was driven to the hospital by an associate after being attacked in his home town of Paisley.

It is understood that McIntosh, known as Mr P for the grip he has on Paisley, is refusing to cooperate with cops. Detectives are treating the attack on him as attempted murder.
A police spokeswoman said: "The injured man has been treated for stab wounds and is currently detained in a serious but stable condition.
Police have launched an investigation, and enquiries are ongoing.
"At this time, it is not clear where the attack took place or the motive for this."
McIntosh, 54, was found in the hospital grounds around 11.40am on Tuesday.
The gangster, once a talented junior footballer, has built up a lucrative criminal network founded on drugs and car crime.
He was interviewed by cops after the bodies of drug dealers John Hall, 45, and David McIntosh, 33, were found in a Lanarkshire scrapyard in October 2001.
